Talk about your unloved children! By most accounts, "Power In The Music" is the most controversial of all Guess Who albums. A very small number of fans - myself among them - think that Dominic Troijano, the "progressive" direction of several of its compositions, the graphics and most everything else about the record are ceaselessly entertaining. Most Guess Who fans, however, think the album stinks...and can stomach nothing from the group's discography that's post-"Road Food". And as the swell liner notes reveal, even Mr. Cummings himself has little good to say about every aspect of the disc (save "Dreams," which he adores). So be it. And yet...fair is fair. Every album deserves to be heard at its best when being evaluated, and FINALLY we get to do just that with "Power In The Music," thanks to the IconoClassic remastering released in 2011. If you've already bought one or two of the grossly deficient CD versions of PITM that were previously fobbed off to an unsuspecting public, you deserve to hear this one - the one finally done right - WITHOUT shelling out more of your hard-earned. This torrent is for you.
